  • Can I bring pets
    Unfortunately pets are not permitted at Hollands Farmhouse. We wish to respect our neighbours and neighbouring farms.
  • Can I bring children
    The Yurt at Hollands Farmhouse is a luxury stay for 2 adults only. We make an exception for babes in arms and will provide a travel cot with bedding. You must inform us of this prior to your stay.
  • Do you provide linen
    We provide all bed linen, blankets, towels. There is no extra charge for this
  • Do you provide fire wood
    Yes. we provide wood for both The Yurt wood-burner and hot-tub. We have a reasonable use policy that you should read prior to your stay.
  • Do you provide internet access
    Yes. The Yurt has its own wifi network. Please be aware that The Yurt does not have a phone line. You are advised to bring your own mobile phone and check with your mobile provider for coverage, prior to your stay.
  • Is there electricity
    The Yurt at Hollands Farmhouse is served by electricity. We aim for the source of this to be from our solar panels as much as possible. The Yurt has electricity and USB points.
  • How do we cook and store food
    There is a SMEG fridge-freezer, Kadai oven/bbq/fire pit, gas hob, microwave.
  • Is there a shop at Hollands Farmhouse
    No. You are advised to purchase a luxury hamper or bring your own provisions. The nearest shop is 2 miles away and will cater for a short stay.
  • Are there laundry facilities
    No. There are no laundry facilities.
  • Do I need to bring toiletries
    We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet roll. All of which is eco-friendly. You may still wish to bring your own.
  • *Accessibility Restrictions*
    Due to the nature of the style of accommodation, The Yurt at Hollands Farmhouse has accessibility restrictions: There are steps to get into the Yurt. There are steps to get into the hot tub. The Horsebox Bathroom is accessed through a small side door. Please ensure that you contact us directly if you have any questions relating to accessibility.
  • Noise Restrictions
    The Yurt at Hollands Farmhouse is situated in a residential hamlet. We wish to respect our neighbours. For that reason we ask for noise to be kept to a minimum between 10pm-7am, and for noise to be kept to a reasonable level during all other times.
  • Can friends and family visit
    No. Visitors are not allowed. The Yurt at Hollands Farmhouse aims to provide a luxury retreat for two adults only. We do not allow visitors either during the day or night. Please be aware that booked guests who allow visitors onto the site without our permission will unfortunately result in the immediate termination of your stay.
  • What is the maximum occupancy
    The Yurt is only suitable for 2 adults and a babe in arms. For health and safety we do not allow more than this.
  • Are there Check-in & Out Times
    Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival. Check out is 10am on the day of your departure. If you have booked for a 3 night weekend stay but cannot stay until the Monday, you are welcome to check-out on Sunday evening.
  • Will we be greeted on arrival
    It is very important to us at Hollands Farmhouse to meet and greet you, show you to The Yurt and give you a brief guide on your stay. We do not want to intrude on your stay or take up your holiday time. But we want you to be able to fully enjoy your stay. For this reason, you must inform us 2 hours prior to your arrival.
  • Is there a security deposit
    For all bookings, a security deposit of £150 is required. This is required in advance of your stay and will be returned to you within 48hrs of your departure, as long as no damage has occured. Guests are liable for the full cost of any damage in excess of the security deposit.
